This guide will help you understand the different pacifiers we stock, the nipple options available, and how to find the perfect fit for you.
Functional vs. Non-Functional Pacifiers
We sell both functional and non-functional pacifiers, and it's helpful to know the difference before you shop.
Functional pacifiers deflate and inflate as you suck on them, allowing air to pass through the nipple during use.
Non-functional pacifiers are more bulb-like and hold air like a balloon.
Both styles are popular, and it comes down to personal preference, so make sure you're choosing the style that works best for you.
Pacifier Guards
Original
Sold with a Size 6 Silicone Teat | Non-Functional
Also known as the "Standard Size 6," the Original is our classic pacifier guard. It features a convenient handle that's great for attaching pacifier clips and is available in over 30 colours. The Original comes standard with the Size 6 frosted teat, which is firm and non-functional. They can be purchased individually or in bulk.
Want to customize? The Original guard is compatible with our Size 8 silicone nipples as well as select limited-edition latex nipples. Any latex nipples that fit the Hypnos will also fit the Original guard.
The Original guard can be modified to become functional, though this falls outside of what we normally recommend. If you're interested in learning more, feel free to reach out to our team, and we can walk you through the process.
Disassembly: The Original can be taken apart, but be careful with the handle — avoid breaking the small studs that hold it in place. We have a helpful video available, but here are the steps:
- Gently pull on one side of the handle at a time to remove it from the button.
- Once the handle is off, simply pull the button off the guard, and you're done!
Fixx
Sold with a Size 10 Silicone Nipple | Functional
The Fixx is shaped similarly to the Original but is about 30% larger. It features a handle for attaching pacifier clips and is available in 25 solid colours and 7 transparent styles, with special printed button versions available in limited supply. The Fixx is fully functional right out of the box and comes standard with the Size 10 silicone nipple. The Size 10 silicone nipples can be purchased individually for replacement purposes.
There are multiple latex nipple options available for the Fixx in a variety of shapes and sizes. These come either stuffed or unstuffed — stuffed nipples are filled with cotton, making them non-functional. The latex nipples compatible with Fixx pacifiers are not compatible with any other pacifier at this time.
Disassembly: The Fixx can be taken apart, but take care with the handle to avoid breaking the small studs that hold it in place.
- Gently pull on one side of the handle at a time, slowly removing it from the button.
- Once the handle is off, simply pull the button off the guard, and you're done!

Hypnos
Sold with a Size 8 Silicone Nipple | Functional
The Hypnos (also known as the Hypnos Sleep Aid) is a thoughtfully designed pacifier created by the team at Pacifier Addict. It's shaped to fit snugly around your face while still allowing airflow, making it perfect for extended wear during naps or relaxation time. It's compatible with our Size 8 silicone nipples and features an easy-to-clean design for simple disassembly and nipple replacement.
The Hypnos offers plenty of customization — choose from a variety of nipple colours, a flat button that's easy to decorate, and stylish pacifier clips for a look that's all your own. Since the Hypnos doesn't have a built-in handle, pacifier clips are attached using Hypnos Rings — small silicone adapters that slide onto the button to create an attachment point. You can check out this video explaining how to put one on.
There are also multiple latex nipple options available for the Hypnos in a variety of shapes and sizes. These are also compatible with the Original pacifier guard.
Disassembly: The Hypnos is one of the easiest pacifiers to take apart since it's only made of two pieces.

Enigma
All-in-One Design
The Enigma is a fully silicone, all-in-one pacifier available in two colours with a butterfly-style guard. Unlike our other pacifiers, it has no detachable parts, making it incredibly durable and easy to clean — just boil it for sterilization.
The back of the guard features a handy loop for a pacifier clip, along with a hole that connects to the hollow nipple — a great alternative for those who tend to suck on their thumbs or fingers. The butterfly-shaped wings also provide a chewable element, made with a slightly more durable silicone for those who enjoy chewing. Designed for comfort and stress relief, the Enigma is a great solution for oral fixation.
Small Guard Pacifiers
Sold with a Size 6 Silicone Teat | Non-Functional
Our Small Guard pacifiers are limited edition and feature a smaller shield than our standard pacifiers. These are baby pacifiers that have been modified with adult-sized teats using the standard Size 6. They're specifically loved for their compact guards that just cover the lips — perfect for those who prefer a smaller, more subtle fit.
These pacifiers cannot be disassembled.
Dream Button Binkey
Sold with a Cherry Pop Teat | Non-Functional
This special vintage-style pacifier features a circular guard and a unique silicone teat that's coloured to resemble a latex nipple, giving it the perfect retro baby look for those who love a classic vintage aesthetic.
There are currently no other compatible nipples for this pacifier, and no nipples are sold individually.
Disassembly:
- Carefully remove the handle from the guard, working one side at a time.
- Once both sides of the handle are removed, gently pull the button off the guard.
- Separate the nipple from the button by pulling them apart.
Nipples/Teats
Material
We offer pacifier nipples/teats in both silicone and latex.
Silicone is firm, smooth, and holds its shape well. It's odourless, tasteless, easy to clean, and heat-resistant, so it handles sterilization without breaking down. It's also hypoallergenic, making it a great choice for anyone with latex sensitivities. The downside is that it's less flexible and can tear more easily if bitten or chewed on aggressively. Our silicone nipples are produced in bulk and can be purchased individually, in packs, or pre-installed on pacifiers.
Latex is softer, more flexible, and has a natural give that many people find more comfortable. It tends to hold up better against biting and chewing. However, it has a slight taste and smell, wears out faster over time (and can become sticky or discoloured), and isn't suitable for anyone with a latex allergy. Latex is also sensitive to light and can absorb water during washing, so it requires a bit more care. Our latex nipples are specialty, handmade products — this means they may have slight variations between units. Latex nipples are only available pre-installed on pacifiers and are not sold separately.
Nipple/Teat Shapes
Orthodontic Flattened on the bottom and rounded on top. They are designed to support the natural shape of an adult's palate and jaw. This is our most common nipple shape, available in sizes ranging from Size 6 all the way up to Size 12.
Cherry Pop Long nipples with a large, bulbous end. Cherry Pop teats are a specialty shape and are currently only available in latex. Note: The Dream Button Binky features a silicone Cherry Pop teat, available for a limited time only.
Cushion Featuring a large, rounded top that tapers toward the guard, Cushion nipples are designed to fill an adult's mouth. They're similar to orthodontic nipples but without the flattened bottom. This is a unique shape and is only available in latex.
Symmetrical With both a flat top and bottom, symmetrical nipples promote a natural sucking motion. This is a unique shape and is only available in latex.
